Surrounded by renowned academics such as Philippe Aghion, philosopher Monique Canto-Sperber will be opening a multi-disciplinary, bilingual liberal arts curriculum at the start of the 2023 academic year.
For more than two hundred years, higher education has offered two ways to pursue post-bac studies: enter university or aim for a grande école, usually via a preparatory class. This dual model has gathered dust, to the point of scaring off a growing number of neo-baccalaureate holders, who are heading abroad for a new kind of curriculum, based on the concept of "liberal arts", studies characterized by generalist programs and small enrolments.
