In order to prepare its students for a successful future, from the very beginning Atouts+ offers numerous immersions in the socio-economic environment and in foreign educational institutions.
Higher education is often criticised for not preparing students sufficiently for the reality of professional life. To meet this challenge, twice a year for one week, Atouts+ offers its students an immersion in a socio-economic environment.
For example:
These experiences are designed to be more than a simple internship, with students acquiring key skills for social and professional success (teamwork, ability to mobilise talents for a common goal, operations and project management) underpinned by their academic skills.
Once a month during the Atouts+ program, under the guidance of a tutor, several hours are devoted to reflecting on the skills and work methods acquired.
In addition, regular lecture events are organized with actors from the public sphere, including business, economics and NGOs, and with young graduates who are starting their professional life in different sectors of society and the public sphere.
Higher education should prepare students for international projects and prospects
During the Atouts+ program, students spend one to two weeks per year in a European university and are thus prepared for further studies in a foreign institution and to pursue an international career.
